Disposable mask mass sanitation machine:
the most efficient and ecological solution for recycling specialists.

USE OF MASKS: A POLLUTION ON A GLOBAL SCALE,
APPEARING EVEN BEFORE THE CRISIS

The Sars-CoV-2 pandemic is the source of an unprecedented increase in the use of masks in our societies. However, it is not the only cause of this pollution with catastrophic consequences for the environment; many actors in the health, agri-food and chemical sectors use disposable masks on a regular and massive scale without any recycling.

The Covid-19 pandemic has indeed highlighted a pollution phenomenon that has always existed and that will unfortunately not end at the same time as the health crisis.

Our brand new "ultraviolet washing machine", fast, efficient and ecological, is already attracting the main players

of this growing sector of disposable mask recycling.

450 years

This is the time it takes
for a mask to disintegrate.

3,5 billion

That's the number of masks thrown away in the world every day.

173 000

This is the number of microplastic fibres released into the water by a single mask every day.

EMPLOYEE PROTECTION AND PROCESS OPTIMISATION

The operations of removing the strip and the elastics from the masks are necessarily manual.
The operators who carry out this work are in direct contact, 7 hours a day, with masks that can be infected by a very wide variety of bacteria, viruses and fungi, in addition to Sars-CoV-2.

Protecting employees and contractors, as well as the environment, is the duty of every responsible company. UVmobi works to ensure that these legal and moral obligations have as little impact as possible on your business processes and operational costs.

Disinfection solutions using heat or washing are an ecological nonsense due to the high consumption of electricity or water and the release of millions of microplastics into the environment.

These are unsustainable, energy-intensive, non-responsible and inefficient "solutions".

We decided to treat the masks solely with ultraviolet light, a technology at the heart of our expertise.

FAST

  • It only takes 30 minutes to disinfect 12 kg of masks, equivalent to 5000 masks!

icone 1.png

NO POLLUTANTS

  • No products, no water, no toxic residuals.

  • Nothing but ultraviolet light to sanitise!

RETURN ON
INVESTMENT

  • No consumables

  • Labour only for
    loading / unloading

  • 9000 hour tube lifetime
    (Philips data)

  • Low power consumption
    of only 1200 W, equivalent
    to an electric heater.

360° EFFECTIVE

  • All masks are strongly agitated: effective disinfection on
    all mask surfaces.

NO SORTING OUT

  • No risk of exposure or contact with masks.

  • Only remove large pieces of waste (bottles, bags, etc.).

MEASUREMENTS
& TESTS

  • Ultraviolet intensity between 2449 and 15495 uW/cm2.
    → 99.9999% destruction of Sars-CoV-2 in 2 to 9 seconds.

  • 93% of samples after machine disinfection have a "good" or "very good" level (restaurant and food industry scale).
